November 29 is Giving Tuesday! We are so excited to once again be a part of this fantastic movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. Every year, Giving Tuesday acts as an international day of giving for non-profits like the Detroit Children's Choir as we move closer to the end of the year.
How You Can Help DCC Reach Our Goal
The Detroit Children's Choir has a mission to use the power of choral music education as a cultural platform to foster musical excellence and to build an inclusive community of confident, focused, and creative youth within Southeastern Michigan. This year, we are serving over 200 students in the Detroit metropolitan area through our seven choir programs. These programs would be impossible without supporters like you!
This year, we have set a goal to raise $5,000 on Giving Tuesday. Please consider helping us reach that goal this year!
About Us
Since 2006, the Detroit Children's Choir has provided choral music education to over 4,500 children in underserved Detroit communities. Our programming offers a vibrant musical outlet that encourages collaboration and creativity, assisting youth in their personal development. The exposure to musical training and the arts for children in these communities can be life-changing as they learn skills that will serve them well into adulthood! The DCC relies on funding from individual donations, grants, and corporate sponsorships to fulfill our mission.
